We had 5 women in their 20s staying at Daryl's apartment, and we had a fantastic time! We walked to and from the apartment to use public transport, explored the local area, the greater Boston area, and Salem, and had zero issues getting in or out. Our car was parked for days with no issue. Daryl was responsive when the wifi wasn't strong enough to reach the top floor and offered a new wifi and password. There were welcome drinks and snacks, the place was clean and well stocked. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be looking to book with Daryl again for our next visit.

This home was exactly how it was described. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and homely. The host was extremely friendly and was quick to reply. Would definitely stay here again.

Darryl was so responsive and his place was beautiful and matched the photos and descriptions. Not a lot of restaurants around but it was a quick easy ride to Northeastern Uni. which was what we needed as our daughter graduated this past week. There were back to back neighborhood festivals so the noise level was a bit late into the night but the windows kept quite a bit of noise out. We would definitely stay there again. We had an amazing week!

This was a perfect stay for our group, we loved it! Only thing to note is that you cannot really walk to any nearby coffee shops etc - this did not bother us however as we had our car. Definitely recommend checking out the nearby Brewery for dinner and drinks - only about a 4 minute drive from the apartment and fantastic pizza!

We had a great stay! Everything was as described, clean and easy to find. Daryl was flexible and responsive in terms of communication. The rooms on the second floor get a little hot during the summer but it’s not unbearable and did not take away from the experience. I would totally recommend staying here.

Let me tell you about Daryl’s place. When I say I’ve never had such an amazing experience in an Airbnb as I did here. AND it looked just like the photos. Better even. So beautiful. We all loved it. We felt like we were right at home. Everything was beautiful and stores were convenient to walk to. There were even snacks and coffee available. BONUS. Whenever I/we come back to Boston I know where I’m staying. The only down side was the heat. The sun was playing no games and the house didn’t stand a chance but the portable AC’a were life savers. I LOVED staying at Daryl’s. Highly recommend.

The home itself was good and Mr. Daryl was extremely kind however the stay was a bit of a let down. Not one of six people in our home were able to connect to the WiFi which didn’t help since we needed access in order to get to our work or our itinerary for the next day and that alone was very inconvenient. However the part of the stay that really ruined it for us was the smoke detector that was low on battery and was SO loud because it was directly above our bed. Overall I hate to say it but a huge part of me wished that we would’ve just stayed in a hotel.

My family loved this Airbnb! It was spacious, clean, and my kids said that the beds were more comfortable than home! They also enjoyed the snacks left for guests! Daryl was very responsive to any questions I had and recommended a luggage storage while we were in town. This properly is fantastic. It is a little ways from the city but once you get the hang of public transit, is easier to navigate. This space also has a parking space, should you need it. Overall, enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

The location was very handy for exploring Boston, but wasn’t in a very busy area which was nice. Daryl has everything you could possibly think of in the Airbnb which was lovely. He was also very proactive and responsive in his communication. Everything was comfy and easy. The only slight issue I had was the temperature and water pressure in the shower, which wasn’t a huge issue for us as we were only staying a couple of nights.

Fantastic stay, exactly as pictured. Caution, the parking lot does fill and on a three night stay we creatively made space once and had to street park another. Daryl was very responsive and it seemed this was a newer unit with what we needed after traveling to town. We drove to Forrest Hills (10ish minutes ) and parked for the day to head into town on the orange line instead of taking bus/commuter train.

The check in process was clear and precise which made check in seamless. It was raining pretty hard upon our arrival so the big umbrella in the entryway closet was thoughtful and extremely helpful. The weather cleared up the following morning which allowed us to stroll the neighborhood markets which was very convenient. The house was very clean and the air conditioning worked very well in all rooms. Daryl was extremely helpful and responsive when asking recommendations for our Fenway trip. I would definitely recommend his place when visiting this amazing town and I would stay here again when visiting the East Coast. The location worked well for us as we were able to catch a game at Fenway Park and grab a drink “Where everybody knows your name”. We had a great stay! The home was very clean, exactly as described, and was perfect for a group—everyone had their own space. Daryl was very responsive and easy to communicate with before, during, and after our stay. Our only suggestion would be adding an A/C unit to the first bedroom on the second floor. Since that room didn’t have an A/C unit, it was a bit too warm to sleep comfortably. We mentioned it to Daryl, and he was very responsive and said he would be adding one. Other than that, we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Accomodations were new and quite comfortable - bed sofa awesome and large washer dryer very useful. Neighborhood was a little rough.

This unit is in an older building which is being extensively remodeled with includes brand new furnishings. The front door is a new door in an old frame. The door doesn't fit well in the frame - there are gaps all around, and the lock doesn't align properly. The door has a window but no covering for privacy. The listing photo shows under-the-counter lighting in the kitchen, but there is none. The kitchen is missing several basic items such as: toaster, can opener, baking sheet, oven-safe baking pan and salt and pepper. The stove/range, microwave and refrigerator are new and very nice! A lamp in the living space for ambient lighting would be good as would a fan for one of the bedrooms. There are no closets, but one of the bedrooms has some wire shelving. The water is very hot and could be dangerous - especially for children. The beds are comfortable and off street parking is great! We did not find the location to be walkable and there wasn't anything to do in the area.

Daryl’s place was as listed and looked exactly like the pictures. He was excellent at communicating and giving me plenty of suggestions for meals. He also gave me serval options for transportation to and from Fenway as we were in town for a ball game. I can’t comment much about the area as we stayed only 1 night and went to the ballpark shortly after check in, and checked out the next morning leaving the area. Daryl was a great host and very responsive. Upon trying to check in, the code I was given did not work. I called Daryl and he immediately answered and assisted. After a few minutes of working on it, he was able to give me the correct code and I was able to access the apartment. The apartment itself was perfect for my son and I. It was close to a lot of places and easy to get to the airport which was important as I flew back home early. The only issue I had was the price. I don’t feel like this property was worth the amount I had to spend. The area was a little sketchy and not the most welcoming feeling. I could have gotten a hotel closer to where I needed to be for about $20 more and I would probably do that next time. All in all, I was pleased with the property though and enjoyed my 24 hours in Boston.

Everything was great except there were people in the apartment above celebrating the world cup at 11:30 pm and they were noisy. Also, it doesn't list of bath towels were included in the rental. Other then that I would recommend this airbnb!

Great place and located very close to a direct, quick train into Boston South Station. The apartment was very clean and had great amenities, especially the washer/dryer and coffee machine. The welcome snacks and drinks were also a really thoughtful touch. The keyless entry was very convenient too, as it meant we didn’t have to worry about coordinating keys if we came home separately. Daryl was a fantastic host — very responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside was that there was some noise from the surrounding neighbours on a couple of nights. One evening in particular it became quite loud, although this was outside of Daryl’s control. Overall, we had a great stay and really appreciated the comfort and convenience of the place.

Daryl's place was well designed, clean, and comfortable. Daryl is great, he responded quickly to our central ac not working by bringing in 3 new AC units to ensure we are comfortable. We enjoyed the stay. The only downside was the street is noisy at night as many people are out partying after hours. Vehicles can be very loud. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Daryl's. Daryl was extremely accommodating for me and my guest. He was kind and always communicating in a respectful manner. This was my first time ever renting a BNB and Daryl definitely made a good first impression for me. Not to mention the place exceeded my expectations and made me wish I had booked to stay longer!

Daryl is a responsive host but the place wasn’t exactly like the pictures. It was clear it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. The pull out bed had crumbs and stains on it. The main bed had hair on it and when you lifted the sheets up there was a clear pee stain. On the window cell there was a pile of hair left. I genuinely question whether the place was cleaned or not.

Daryl's home was easy to locate and close to downtown Boston. Parking was easy and the space itself was inviting. We had a great stay!

It was the perfect little spot to spend our anniversary! Every place that we had planned to go including dinner plans, museums, shopping- was all within a 10-20 minute drive. It was perfect! They provided enough utensils to cook breakfast, if we needed to run the dishwasher there were dishwasher pods provided. There’s a washer and dryer, and there was laundry detergent provided. It was absolutely perfect, felt like you were at home! Daryl was super responsive and very detailed with all of the instructions! It’s a place I would definitely go to again! I would say the one downfall that we ran into was a lot of traffic but that’s because it was game day at Fenway! So that is no surprise and that is in no control to anyone!

My husband and I had a great stay. Daryl was a proactive and responsive host. The place was very clean, felt new, cozy, and had everything we needed, with an efficient use of space. We’d definitely stay here again if back in the area.

We stopped into Boston on our way to a wedding in Maine. Found Daryl's listing that met everything we needed, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, parking. The condo/apartment was less than two blocks from the train to get to downtown. The neighborhood was lovely. Waling distance to Dominican or Jamaican restaurants. It was also easy to just drive from the location and when we arrived back, we always had a parking space in the alley next to the apartment/condo. My family definitely enjoyed our stay. Plenty of snacks, pots, pans, Kuerig. Refrigerator and freezer space. Laundry was easy to do.

We had a fantastic stay. We were able to access the property and enjoyed the three floors of space. Now, sometimes things happen, appliances go down, even though they are new. The thing that really set us off was hearing house music all hours of the night (midnight to 5am to be precise). We stayed from Wed- Sunday and the neighborhood was quiet and pleasant until Saturday evening. The neighbors across the street blasted music from 9pm until we left for the airport at 6am. That was the only issue we had the entire time, otherwise it was an amazing stay!

My friend and I stayed here while on our trip to Boston. It served as a great home base and had enough room comfortably for the 2 of us between bedroom and pull out couch. It was near enough to the city to drive in for the day and was great with off street parking . Definitely recommend

Daryl was kind and friendly. He provides public transportation schedules in the apartment and tips on good things to do in Boston. (Double check train times with your map app or MBTA website- there’s construction on the track currently.) Situated in a Dorchester neighborhood, there’s Caribbean food in walking distance. The Talbot line train and bus stops are 5 minutes away by foot and you can get anywhere from there. I took public transit into Boston, to Salem, and to Boston Logan International - with luggage. Also, walking back to Daryl’s from train platform after 10pm was fine. I had great weather, but Daryl provides a couple umbrellas to use. I enjoyed the apartment and it’s easy access to Boston.

This was a great place to stay and Daryl was a great host. The home is a little too far from public transit to walk to, but an easy Uber or Lyft ride. The home was clean, modern and exactly as advertised. We would stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back to Boston someday.

Daryl is the best! He is friendly and very responsive. We had a couple of maintenance issues and he took care of them right away. We appreciate that he let us stay an hour over checkout time when we had to go to the airport to get a car on a stormy morning. The apartment was perfect for our needs—even the fold out couch was comfortable. We especially appreciated the private king suite on the third floor. We found the neighborhood to be safe and pleasant for morning and evening walks. The apartment is spacious and sparsely decorated—some softer light options and additional places to sit in the living room would make the experience even better. But overall, if you are looking for a comfortable place for a larger group, this can’t be beat.

First time in Boston and Daryl’s place was a perfect place to stay. If you have a Charlie card there is a few stations within driving distance. We drove into the city and it was about 20ish minutes every time. Very easy to find and parking was easy every night. Bed was comfortable and shower was spacious. The place was quiet at nights and kept clean. Daryl left us hot chocolate, coffee, chips, water, cookies, and umbrellas… which came in handy!!! Daryl was proactive with making sure we checked in ok and that we had everything we needed. Amazing host and place!!! Would strongly recommend!!!

We loved our stay at Daryl's place. We were able to easily walk to the T and had close access to downtown Boston. The size of the space, and the layout of the space were perfect for our family of 6. The master bedroom is particularly nice and private. Our whole family was comfortable here!

Daryl is EXTREMELY responsive and has been the most communitavie host I've ever had. His place is cute. Not being familiar with the area, I was initially confused on the location. Dorchester is a suburb of Boston. That's good to know if getting an UBER or LYFT. Everyone in the neighborhood is very helpful and was constantly helping us with directions. It is about a 20+ min ride to downtown depending on traffic. There is a ring camera, however; I'm not sure it was connected. We were not able to see who was at the door when there was a knock. I am very glad we answered though. He had water bottles, coffee and sangria delivered. How sweet! Be sure to bring laundry detergent/ dryer sheets. Having a washer/dryer unit was really nice. The kitchen was really convenient as well. It helped save a few bucks each morning. We picked up a few things at the convenience store around the corner for breakfast. Daryl is a great host. He really cares about his guests.

This place was Great for a group of 6 or less. Daryl was AMAZING to deal with, always answered questions and was quick to respond. The house was beautiful inside and out. The neighborhood like to have lots of parties on Friday snd Saturday nights, so be prepared for loud music and laughter until 11:00-12:00pm. We stayed here during our visit to Boston! Easy to find and get in! Daryl was a very pleasant and responsive host. We ended up ubering during our time, so no review on the parking situation, sorry friends! The bed was quite comfortable. The pullout bed had a fitted sheet already on it when we pulled out the couch, plus we found an old used napkin in between the cushions, so we weren’t sure if the fitted was clean… it felt a little grainy. Nothing a couple blankets won’t fix though! Other than that, the place was clean, everything was easy to find, it was moderately quiet except for some road noise (which is very normal for Boston)! All and all, a pleasant stay for what we needed and we’d definitely stay here again!

It was a great price in an accessible location from many areas in and around the city, and boasted comfortable sleeping arrangements in a spacious apartment. Daryl is a thoughtful host and communication was easy. We had everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood night noise was somewhat of an issue, but only from the top floor bedroom. Two of the bedrooms were very quiet. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

First floor so no stairs was very nice. Washer and dryer with free street parking. Snacks were included and place was very clean and spotless. Super close to downtown Boston only 20 minuet Uber ride. We really enjoyed our stay here!! Everything was just like described. Location was safe, parking was very easy and secure. The only issues were the Wi-Fi and the upstairs unit. The connection was very spotty our whole stay and it seemed like the people staying upstairs were making renovations because they decided to start their day at 3 in the morning!! Thankfully it was only 2 of our 5 day stay here. Daryl was very accommodate and let us check out 2 hours after the usual check out at no extra fee! Son and daughter in law had to sit on porch for an hour with their belongings, early check in request was not responded to when they sent it, the unit was empty and no housekeeper was there the time they waited. Neighborhood is very noisy, neighbors playing loud music most of the night, dirt bikes flying up and down the street, sirens were frequent. We did not realize the neighborhood was sketchy or we would not have booked, never went out at night. Inside is nice, well maintained, air conditioning is portable units that are noisy.

The first night(Sunday) the neighborhood was crazy loud- however, it was some sort of Caribbean holiday celebration?? Monday night was MUCH better.

This apartment was so beautiful! We had an amazing stay there and were so grateful to Daryl for having us!

We had a nice overall stay. Everything worked out well and it was nice having fans in every room. The rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint is that all of the pillows were super thick, like couch pillows, which affected our sleep. There were tons of pillows to choose from, but they were all much thicker than what my family and I are used to.

The house is not only very large, but also equipped with everything you could wish for - from a modern, well-equipped kitchen to several comfortable bathrooms. As out of towners looking for a place that we could sleep our kids after exploring Boston, was a bit let down by the location. There was music blasting all night and even some gunshots followed by sirens and all that. Luckily the babies were put to sleep and not awoken but it also comes down with the lack of familiarity with the whole Boston and surrounding areas in general. The place was nice and comfortable, it was just the neighborhood that wasn't a great spot for my family.
