Boston vacation rentals for a big group: one building sleeps 29, the one next door sleeps 25. Whole apartments, full kitchens, free parking. Book direct.

Up to 29 in one building, 19 Ellis Street
Free parking off the street, at every apartment

How many people each address sleeps

Most of our buildings hold more than one apartment, and a group can take the whole address. 17 and 19 Ellis Street in Hyde Park sit side by side and sleep 54 between them, in nine apartments. Every apartment is whole: its own front door, kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms, from one bedroom up to four.

Our largest single apartment, 42 Glenway Street in Dorchester, sleeps ten on its own.

A building instead of a block of hotel rooms

A big group in a hotel books room by room, lands on different floors, and has nowhere to sit together but the lobby. Here each household gets its own apartment, and everyone is at the same address.

That means kitchens for group breakfasts and dinners, a washer and dryer in most apartments, and free off-street parking at every apartment, so a group arriving in several cars is not paying a garage for each one.

Family reunions, teams and group trips

Groups who have stayed with us include families of six and seven, a team on a work trip, and a group in town for a conference downtown. Yolanda, who came for that conference: "Daryl's place offered the right amount of rooms and bathrooms, very clean, and great space (kitchen and living room) to gather."

Booking several apartments

Pick your dates at the top of this page and every apartment that is free shows, with the Ellis Street apartments first. Each one books on its own, with free cancellation before check-in.

For a whole building, call or text Daryl at 617-799-4558 and he will help you put it together. The apartments are for staying in, not a venue: our house rules do not allow parties or events.

Getting a group around Boston

Ellis Street is a 14-minute walk from Hyde Park station on the commuter rail, and the train reaches South Station in about 20 minutes. Warner and Bernard Street are a 4-minute walk from Talbot Avenue station, about 19 minutes to South Station. With cars, everyone parks free at the apartment and drives in.

We stayed as a family of 7 and had a peaceful night at Daryl's. We would recommend his place for a family or group of friends.— verified guest review

Common questions

Can 20 or more people stay together in Boston?
Yes, at one address. 19 Ellis Street sleeps 29 in five apartments, and 17 Ellis Street, next door, sleeps 25 in four. 7 and 9 Bernard Street sleep 20 between them.
Is there parking for several cars?
Every apartment has its own free off-street parking, so a group arriving in several cars is not paying a garage for each one.
Can we hold a party or event at the apartments?
No. The apartments are for your group to stay in, not a venue: our house rules do not allow parties or events.
Do we have to book every apartment in the building?
No. Book as many as your group needs. Each apartment is yours alone, but other guests may stay in the rest of the building and share the entrance or stairs.
What are check-in and checkout times?
Check-in is 3pm and checkout is 10am as standard, with self check-in, so nobody has to meet anyone at a set hour.
